Onboard Captain Service is a partnership between three captains, Matt, Joyce & Ben. After years of partnering for deliveries and many years as working captains, we noticed a couple gaps in the market.

1.) A gap between the required boater safety courses and actual practical experience necessary to safely and confidently operate a vessel.

2.) A gap in the delivery market. Most captains steer clear of owner onboard deliveries, so we happily specialize in it.

The three of us have lived on boats since 2017 and love the boating community. It excites us to collaborate and share our knowledge with new boaters, especially those looking to cruise the ICW, Bahamas, and beyond.

Our goal at OCS is not just to provide delivery services but also to develop better boaters, through owner on-board deliveries as well as new boater Instruction (sail and power). We believe that the best way to learn and, ultimately, be a safer sailor is through practical experience and we are here to ensure you get the instruction you need to be confident on your yacht.
